Dear Lady Thompson

I send you hereby the testimonial you wished for Miss Gilloch – may it be of use to her, that would give me real satisfaction.

I have to communicate you some very sad news. I lost my son who lived in Gera with |2| his wife and children. I believe you know, that he was very suffering since years, and, we must confess, that his death was happyneß for him, but, still a great grief for us and his whole family. I know, you will have all friendshiply sympathie with us.
